Williamsburg, KY – September 18, 2020 – KECH, Inc. is excited to announce our Community Partnership award from the Whitley County School District! In February 2020, KECH started a partnership with Whitley County High School to launch a career training program. As a business owner in the Whitley County area, KECH is dedicated to helping the area thrive by adding new jobs/careers at our Williamsburg KY headquarters. The KECH Learning Center program provides training to high school students who do not plan to, or have delayed attending college/university, and want to be trained for a career with growth potential in the contact center environment.

KECH - Community Partnership award - Whitley CountyThe program teaches the students contact center 101:

  • Understanding and using all types of technology, including Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Automated Call Distribution (ACD), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Workforce Optimization (WFO), Surveys, and emerging technologies such as chatbots and other AI
  • Customer service and soft skills such as building rapport with callers, active listening, how to handle challenging customers, and more
  • Career pathing through career opportunities available within a contact center
  • Understanding the types of contact centers, especially focused on Federal government, and the requirements for eligibility to work on a Federal contract

The program is designed to not only teach students about a contact center career but also provide valuable life skills that can be applied to any type of profession, including resume writing, mock interviews, employee expectations for attendance, timeliness, productivity, etc. The goal of the program is to provide students with the necessary skills to obtain a contact center job with KECH or other local contact centers in the area. During the summer of 2020, KECH employed about half of the students that participated in the program.

The partnership has been a very rewarding experience for the KECH team. Many of our KECH team members were key contributors to helping us develop and implement the program. If I’ve ever had something that has come up due to me being in the military she has always been with me 100% and ensuring that I’m able to properly assist my soldiers and/or my states by allowing me to be absent from work or take the time I need to make sure I get my job done correctly.”

Christie leads a team of personnel that provide contact center services for Active Military, Veterans, and their families to check eligibility of benefits. Christie is a true leader and inspires her team to give their all every day! KECH is a subcontractor to InspiriTec, a non-profit Ability One company, that hires disabled Veterans. I love the fact that we are a family and we are treated as a person and not just a number. They go above and beyond to let us know that we matter and that we are important as well as giving out rewards for a job well done!!KECH Employee
They promote a friendly, peaceful atmosphere. I feel appreciated, and my opinion is valued and often implemented. I have never worked anywhere that ownership is so easy to get in contact with and where they actually want to communicate with their team. They teach the management team to show the same care, concern, and patience they show. While the work we do is at times difficult, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. They reward hard work.KECH Employee

KECH, Inc. Awarded Prime Contract to Develop Computer Based Training

Computer Based TrainingWilliamsburg, KY – September 25, 2018 – KECH, Inc., a HUBZone certified, Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a Department of Defense contract to develop several Computer Based Training (CBT) classes.

KECH, Inc. has been selected to develop a series of CBTs to help end-users understand key features and functionality of a DoD application. Using an AGILE approach for the development of each CBT, KECH is working in close collaboration with the client to make certain each CBT is designed and created with the end-user in mind. KECH is using professional software to develop interactive training that can be integrated into a Learning Management System (LMS) or uploaded and launched directly from the DoD web-app in an HTML format.

KECH’s learning philosophy was borne from a desire to improve Customer Experience (CX) and address operational issues that impact all industries. As financial constraints increase for both public and private sectors, we must continue to offer services that enhance skills in an everchanging world, increase efficiency, and decrease errors by empowering users with training self-service options. “With current budget pressures and associated business impacts, developing and administering an engaging Learning and Development (L&D) program has become more important than ever,” said Kevin Woznick, COO of KECH. For trainees to succeed, they must feel comfortable using a training platform, which requires the creation of training that is accessible, easy to digest, engaging and fun, and improves confidence with the training subject matter.

We developed our KECH Learn offering to modernize training; engage employees, customers, constituents, and end-users; and promote a continual learning culture. KECH Learn is a customizable Learning Management System (LMS) that supports rich content creation and a live virtual classroom environment. Course creation is highly interactive, uses gamification, embeds external sources, and multimedia integration for an engaging learning environment.
